Dr. Mich serves children and families exposed to experiences of childhood trauma, community trauma, and racial stress. She is a mother, wife, teacher, mentor, author, researcher, and advocate who is passionate about promoting wellness as an everyday lifestyle. She strongly believes in early intervention through the parent/caregiver-child relationship. She also promotes using client-centered, culturally-appropriate, expressive arts, strength-based, and mind-body-spirit connection when helping clients heal. She is a Registered Play Therapist (TM), Certified Trauma Psychotherapist, Trained Infant Mental Health Therapist, and Certified Grief Counselor.

Mr. Smith has over 40 years of experience in the beauty business but now serves as a mental health therapist and ordained Christian minister. His experience in the beauty business fuels his passion in addressing issues related to self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and intimate partner violence in women. He is a father, husband, human and civil rights activist, and community engagement leader bridging the gap between faith, community, and mental health. He utilizes holistic mental health approaches that promotes wellness through a healthy synergy of the mind, body and soul. He serves his clients using a person-centered, strengths-based, systems perspective and expressive arts techniques.
